Assessment, Planning, and Evaluation

Education Progress is committed to design and implement standard-based system for evaluating primary school students, assess teaching content and methodology, and promote and develop information system to improve access and collection of data and indicators and information on schools to improve schools’ management and planning.

Research and Evaluation

Education Progress include in all its education programs strong research and evaluation components, comprised of behavioral research, interviews, needs assessment, research action, and program evaluation. Research and evaluation ensure that Education progress strategies and programs are relevant and sustainable and offer effective tools for further education policy measures at both national and local levels.

Teacher Training

Education Progress designs appropriate pre service and in service teacher training and training materials to complement the new curricula and improve student centered teaching methods. Education progress assesses teacher’s in-training needs and design appropriate workshop and training in subject content and pedagogy to improve teaching delivery quality.

Gender Equity in education

Education Progress includes in all its projects and programs a gender equity component. Education Progress provides assessments of the degree of educational disadvantage that girls face, identifying gender-related obstacles and implement effective strategies for educating girls.

Peace Building capacity

Education Progress designs formal and non formal programs for primary level schools that promote the knowledge, skills and attitudes that will allow young students to develop behavior that can help in preventing, and resolving conflict and creating the social conditions conducive to peace.

Curricula Development

Education Progress works on improving the overall curricula at the primary level by assessing the quality and relevancy of curricula and teaching materials per topics and both designing and implementing new materials culturally and gender sensitive.

HIV/AIDS prevention in classroom

Education Progress designs and implements integrated health and education programs to promote improved educational achievement for children in the developing world and fight against HIV/AIDS through age adapted materials and in-service teacher trainings.

Community Participation

Education Progress works with communities to ensure their productive participation. Some of our projects aim to develop or strengthen Parents Teacher Association by providing adapted training.

ICT in education

Education Progress, in close collaboration with local and national leaders, designs innovative and cost-effective technology systems to improve quality, expand access, and enhance equity of basic education.

Private Public partnerships

Education progress works in developing private public partnerships to create sustainable alliances that work to improve education.
